OUR TOP 3 PROJECTS OF 2024: Missouri + Beyond In 2024, ROSCH Company proudly delivered some of the most innovative and impactful retaining wall projects in our history. Here’s a
look at three standout projects that defined our year:
1 Travisso Subdivision 2 Automotive Point Leander, Texas Wentzville, Missouri
3 First Bank
St. Louis, Missouri
This project featured over 12,000 square feet of pavers across multiple levels, incorporating permeable pavement, courtyard brick paving, and rooftop pedestal pavers. A key challenge was installing pedestal systems on the 3rd and 4th-floor balconies, requiring fiberglass grates for leveling due to varied paver sizes and patterns. The result was an attractive, functional space for upper-level offices.
This residential development required large stone mortared retaining walls, building pads, and water containment. A land bridge was necessary for access, and the project had a tight timeline. With a crew of 20+ working 6-7 days a week and daily coordination with our client on earthwork and construction, the project was successfully completed on schedule, contributing to the overall development of the subdivision.
Automotive Point included over 24,000 square feet of retaining walls supporting parking lots, drive lanes, and a prominent detention basin visible from the intersection of highways 40/61 and 70. The basin, built with Redi-Rock hollow core blocks, required water stops in the footings and reinforced concrete-filled blocks to retain water. Collaboration with the design engineer ensured both functionality and aesthetic appeal for the client.
